Today, after 46 years I finally found the place and time to look back on my art. Photography and travel has been connected in my life for a very long time. I started travelling on my own when I was 16 carrying along a borrowed instamatic camera.
Those were my first steps….
Years later travelling became my way of life and I realized that photography was my full time passion.
It was early 1984 when I left Argentina in a cargo ship carrying just a small camera and my pockets full with adventure desire.
After 3 months I landed in New Orleans and travel around the States for some time, till I found Telluride Colorado, a small beautiful town surrounded by mountains.
That became my home and base camp for my future National and International Photo trips.
Made friends with good photographers who showed me the way.
They Introduced me to the best equipment and film available at that time, the basic know how on techniques and concept matters.
Patagonia Clothing chooses one of my shots for a catalog and a Hollywood production hires me as I still photographer.
This was my starting point for professional photo shooting ! |
